Is Air Pollution making your Asthma worse?

Air Pollution is on the rise! We're constantly inhaling polluted air and it’s causing:1
Throat irritation, coughing, sneezing, watery eyes, chest pain, shortness of breath, fever, and consequently, lung damage!
If you are living with asthma, follow these steps to shield yourself from air pollution:
- Plan your physical activities where pollution levels are lower, away from busy roads or industrial areas.2
- Plan your activities in the morning, especially during the summer.2
- Work out indoors on hot and smoggy days.2
- Choose an activity that reduces your intake of polluted air, like walking instead of jogging to make it less intense.3
- Keep your quick-relief medication handy when outdoors.3
- Monitor air quality in internet before stepping out.3
- Consult your doctor if you experience any symptoms in an air-polluted area.
Take care of yourself and remember to take your medications daily on time.
